When can I finally go to Mauritius again…..

Entry requirements by the ministry of foreign affairs:

From 15. July unti 30. September following entry requirements are in place

Fully vaccinated tourists can travel to Mauritius to one of their certified COVID-19 safe hotels.

You will need a mandatory PCR test at the airport on your day of arrival and proof of health insurance. More PCR Tests will follow on day 7 and 14 of your stay. The hotel and beach are not allowed to be left.

After 14 days of staying at the hotel property and a negative PCR test you are free to leave the hotel and its property to roam the island.

Not vaccinated people can only enter the country if they have Mauritian nationality. Also they have to go 14 days into quarantine in a state approved hotel room.

On the website www.mauritiusnow.com you will find more information and also future plans for further openings on 01. October 2021. Which indicates that an entry with a negative PCR Test and a hotel of your choice might be possible for vaccinated people. Not vaccinated people have to stay 14 days in their hotel room in quarantaine.

All bookable COVID safe hotels from now until 30. September you will find at mauritiusnow.com/where-to-stay-in-mauritius/

Our diving center at the Hibiscus Beach Resort is still closed, as the hotel has not yet received the permission to open. We are expecting to reopen 01. October 2021 at its earliest.
