Sarah is a German marine biologist specialising in coral reef ecology and marine conservation. She holds a Master’s degree in Integrative Zoology (University of Rostock) and is a state-certified research diver.

Since 2015, she has been working in the Red Sea in the fields of reef monitoring and environmental education. Her scientific work on coral reefs in Sudan has attracted international attention.

She now lives in Soma Bay, is involved with Turtlewatch Egypt and works at ORCA Dive Clubs as a freediving, mermaiding and Relaqua instructor. She shares her knowledge with great passion and inspires others to protect our oceans.
